Pre-registration by mail or email is preferred. Registration on site is between 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on the date of the tournament. Coaches must turn in team sheets by 9:00 a.m. to be scheduled in a quad. Cash, credit card, and checks accepted.

1st round will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be three rounds for each team of 3-5 players, and the final round should be completed by 1:30 -2:00 p.m.

$75.00 annual team fee to be paid by team sponsor. (If you have already paid the annual fee, there is no additional fee to participate in this tournament.)

Small trophies awarded to the winning team in each quad.

Please bring chess sets, notation sheets and clocks. Concessions and chess equipment will be available for purchase on site.

Parents will be able to view the tournament from a distance but will not be permitted into the tournament area unless they are a team captain.

This is a great tournament for beginners – no entry fees, no USCF membership required and low pressure! Just fun and a chance to practice what they learn at chess club. Don’t have enough for a team? We can try to place you on a team that isn’t full. We hope to see as many children there as possible!
